Over the Top releases NyxQuest intro video

Developer Over the Top unleashed a new trailer for their upcoming WiiWare game NyxQuest, but since we’re too gimp to have our own player we’ll just have to borrow the clip from YouTube. The video sets up the story with artwork and text via a slideshow of sorts whilst Greek Mythologyish (that’s definitely a word) music rolls in the background. Rather than having me describe it, you could just watch it, you know.

Since getting some hands-on with the title at E3, I’ve been really anxious to get the full version of NyxQuest and it appears that day is coming soon enough. While this intro trailer focuses on the intro (naturally), I definitely recommend checking out some gameplay footage. NyxQuest both looks and plays great, as I learned at E3 – in fact, it was the final motivation that got me to reach out and contact Over the Top. Speaking of which, this gives me the chance to whore out the interview we just did with Over the Top, so check it out if you haven’t yet. Roberto Alvarez de Lara said in our interview that the team is quite proud of the music in the game, and if this intro is any indication of what the rest of the game offers, they should be, as it’s pretty damn lovely.
