Something wonderful is about to happy
Well folks, it’s officially official. Fez is coming to XBLA, and quite frankly, I couldn’t be happier. Regardless of the platform I would have picked the title up, so if I would have been forced into playing Fez on PC, I suppose I wouldn’t have bitched about it – well, not too much. However, the simple fact is that I feel more at home with a console controller in my hand (especially when dealing with a platformer) whilst sitting in front of a big TV. Yes Mr. PC snob, I do realize that is possible with practically any computer with the right setup, but the convenience simply isn’t there – and I love convenience.
Fez XBLA rumblings have been around since a lone screenshot (seen above) showed a 360 pad’s A button in a text bubble, though it very well could have merely been confirmation of compatibility with the pad on PC. Thankfully, that isn’t the case and console gamers can now unite with a giant high five knowing that the gorgeous and super creative indie platformer is hitting XBLA.
The worst part? It ain’t happening until early 2010.
